Maybe it's Zumba or yoga. It doesn't matter. The kids are finally in school, and so you do have this spare time during the day, and you do find ways to occupy it. Your friends? Can you imagine a more annoying bunch of people? Catty, vindictive, gossipy, shallow people, whose main project in life is to work themselves into a furor trying to outdo each other, decorating their houses perfectly, everything in control.... yeah, right. Styrofoam people, doing styrofoam things...living styrofoam lives.....Don't you just want to laugh sometimes? Your guy He is not the guy you married, of course. He's put on a few pounds, spends a lot of time nurturing his image at the office.... maybe he is a traveler.... football fan....golfer.....deer hunter. Deer season is coming up isn't it? Either way, he and his buddies have their own thing going on....and it involves leaving you for another few hours during the weekends, when he should be taking care of you and the spawn. Well, that's the lifestyle. Hopefully he's not on zocor yet, for the cholesterol, or antidepressants yet, for his stressful but unfulfilling life...you'd like to feel sorry for him, but you don't. That's you he's whining about. You really have things pretty good, don't you? But we both know that something is missing. There's a spot inside that you can't fill. Maybe you tried drinking. Antidepressants....not much different.... Porn.....pick an addiction.... I can fill up that missing piece. I can make your heart flutter every time you open up your inbox. I can give you just a little bit of naughtiness.... the thrill that you get from doing something you really shouldn't. Goosebumps. The Rush. I can make you tremble, by looking into your eyes, and take your breath away just by holding you close to me....Wouldn't it frost the tennis ladies if they knew? They wouldn't have the nerve.
